~ Bua Tong Waterfalls ~
A hidden gem of Chian Mai, the ‘Bua Tong Sticky Waterfalls’is a unqiue destination where you can climb up the waterfall! A local secret and one of the best hidden unique finds in Thailand. My sister found this while she was researching Thailand and we asked many locals how to get there. We realised that it was almost as if they didn’t want us to know about it. We hired a private driver and asked him to take us there and lucky for him probably got one of the most interesting daytrips to experience with him!
I remember this being the moment that actually made me realise the best parts of travelling – discovering hidden gems such as this that wasn’t overwhlemed by tourists. When we got there, we had the whole waterfall to yourself! We had so much fun just climbing the different areas and safe to say there was no other place like this and easily made Chiang Mai my favourite destination in Thailand.
