~ Singapore ~
♦ Marina Bay Sands ♦ Sentosa Islands ♦ Palawan Beach ♦ Universal Studios ♦ Gardens By The Bay ♦ The Flower Dome ♦
Singapore was my first international trip overseas and one definitively features one of the most visited and top Airport’s to visit and for good reason.
The concept at the Changi Airport is a tourist destination in itself. Described as a playground full of surprises, the journey features many things in the various terminals to explore including the Enchanted Gardens including the Butterfly Garden, Cactus Garden and Sunflower Garden, a rooftop swimming pool and a 4-storey slide with a children’s playground, an Entertainment Deck including cinema movie theatre, art installations including the mesmerising Kinetic Rain dance of copper raindrops and a user-generated interactive photo stream on the Social Tree that you can add to. There are a variety of things to do in each terminal! The airport is just a taste of the vats playground of Singapore.
Some of the highlights in Singapore include Marina Bay, Sentosa Island, Gardens By the Bay, Flower Dome, Cloud Forest, OCBC Skyway, SuperTree Grove, Heritage Gardens, Jurong Bird Garden and Singapore Zoo, Dragonfly and Kingfisher Lakes and The Canyon to name a few. A great suggestion is to get the Singapore City Pass which combines a variety of attractions for your visit.

~ Gardens By The Bay & Super Tree Grove ~
One of the famous icons in Singapore are the Gardens By the Bay located next to the Marina Reservoir. A unique showpiece of garden artistry and horticulture of a plant kingdom including the Super Tree Grove that is worth exploring featuring rare plants found in this part of the world. The park consists of three waterfront gardens Bay Central Garden, Bay South Garden and Bay East Garden.

~ Merlion Park ~
Another Singapore landmark and tourist attraction is Merlion Park, located near the Central Business District and is known as the symbol of Singapore. The body symbolises Singapore’s humble beginnings in a fishing village previously called Temasek, meaning ‘sea town’. Its head represents Singapore’s original name, Singapura, or ‘lion city’ in Malay.
~ The Three Great Light Shows ~
Spectra is the Marina Bay Sands Light and Water Show that you can discover over the water at the Event Plaza along the promenade every night from 8pm and 9.30pm. This was definitely something I wanted to experience a full-fledged experience with nocturnal animals! A very cool experience to wander the natural habitat of the animals that roam at night. I’d never imagine that I would see Hyena’s first hand either!
~ Singapore Flyer ~
Seems like every city has its own wheel #WheelOfTheCity. The Singapore Flyer is a viewing platform that offers full 360 degree views of Singapore and can be seen from the distance for its iconic attraction to Singapore. My sister and I stumbled our way there somehow and got yet another great view of the Gardens by the Bay.

~ Sentosa ~
Explore Sentosa Island that can be accessed by cable car, pedestrian boardwalk or the monorail. Tiger Sky Tower has panoramic views reaching as far as Indonesia. On the south coast is Palawan Beach, lined with food stalls and bars with a suspension bridge to a small island to explore. Tanjong Beach is a more tranquil, crescent-shaped beach. For an Indoor Skydiving experience, head to iFly Singapore.
~ Universal Studios Singapore ~
The park has a total of 24 attractions in 7 themed zones located at Resorts World Sentosa featuring exciting rides and attractions for the best fun-filled thrills and adrenaline. I myself didn’t expect to find so much entertainment in this resort!
